As a Personal Caregiver, you’ll assist elderly clients at home with light housekeeping, meals, medication reminders, and companionship. Travel is required; shifts range from 4 to 12 hours and include weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional home care experience.
• Valid driver’s license and insured automobile with reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• TB test or chest X-ray as required.

Responsibilities

• Care for ill, aging, or disabled clients in their homes.
• Light housework, meal preparation, medication reminders and errands.
• Provide companionship and personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Travel to client residences; shifts times/days vary by client needs.
• Be willing to work with Hospice patients and handle diverse client requirements.

Job Description:

Pay Rate $15.00 - $17.00 per hour plus weekend pay differential

Shifts: ALL SHIFTS- 4-12 hours long FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING

Location: Levittown, PA and surrounding areas

Responsibilities of the Personal Caregiver for Elderly

• Caring for an ill, aging, or disabled person.

• Responsibilities may include light housework, meal preparation, medication reminders, shopping and running errands, companionship, and assistance with personal care services such as bathing, dressing and grooming.

• Primarily work in the client's place of residence.

• Travel is required.

• Shift times, days and activities vary with client needs.

• Be willing to work with Hospice patients

• Alzheimer's and Dementia Experience a plus

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license, insured automobile, and personal transportation

• Minimum 1 years of professional home care experience

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate required

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

• Ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job

• Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick
