Job summary

Right at Home is urgently hiring Experienced Caregivers for in-home care in the area. Earn $19 per hour plus a weekend differential. Join an award-winning company with a culture built around kindness and flexible schedules.

We are seeking compassionate caregivers to provide personalized, respectful care in clients' homes. Travel between client locations is required, with shifts available across days and evenings to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional home care experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid drivers license and insured vehicle.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Compassionate attitude toward elder care.
• TB test within the past year.

Responsibilities

• Caring for an ill, aging, or disabled person.
• Light housework, meal prep, medication reminders, errands, companionship, and personal care support.
• Primarily work in the clients residence.
• Travel is required.
• Shift times and activities vary by client needs.
• Be willing to work with Hospice patients.
• Alzheimer's and Dementia experience is a plus.

Job Description:

Pay Rate $19 per hour plus weekend pay differential

Shifts: Urgently Hiring ALL SHIFTS- 4-12 hours long

Location: Newtown, New Hope, and Washington Crossing, PA

Responsibilities of the Personal Caregiver for the Elderly

• Caring for an ill, aging, or disabled person.

• Responsibilities may include light housework, meal preparation, medication reminders, shopping and running errands, companionship, and assistance with personal care services such as bathing, dressing and grooming.

• Primarily work in the client's place of residence.

• Travel is required.

• Shift times, days and activities vary with client needs.

• Be willing to work with Hospice patients

• Alzheimer's and Dementia Experience a plus

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license, insured automobile, and personal transportation

• Minimum 1 years of professional home care experience

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate required

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

• Ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job

• Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick

• Enjoy spending time with seniors!

• TB test- PPD or QuantiFERON (both within the past year) or ChestXray (within the past 5 years)
