Job summary

Right at Home Langhorne is seeking an Experienced Home Health Aide in Langhorne, PA. You’ll provide compassionate in-home care to seniors and disabled clients, assisting with daily living activities, medication reminders, and companionship.

Shifts include evenings, with multiple shift lengths and flexible scheduling. We offer competitive pay of $15.00–$17.00 per hour, weekend pay differential, and bonuses for call-out shifts and referrals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional home care experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle with personal transportation.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Compassionate, patient and able to work with seniors.
• TB test within past year or Chest X-ray within past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Caring for ill, aging, or disabled clients in their homes.
• Light housework, meal prep, medication reminders, shopping and errands, companionship, and personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Primary work in client’s residence; travel to client sites is required.
• Shift times and activities vary with client needs; evenings shifts available.
• Support for Hospice clients when required; Alzheimer’s/Dementia experience is a plus.

Pay Rate $15.00 - $17.00 per hour plus weekend pay differential

Shifts: ALL SHIFTS- 4-12 hours long - EVENINGS NEEDED

Location: Langhorne, PA and surrounding areas

Responsibilities of the Home Health Aide for Elderly

• Caring for an ill, aging, or disabled person.

• Responsibilities may include light housework, meal preparation, medication reminders, shopping and running errands, companionship, and assistance with personal care services such as bathing, dressing and grooming.

• Primarily work in the client's place of residence.

• Travel is required.

• Shift times, days and activities vary with client needs.

• Be willing to work with Hospice patients

• Alzheimer's and Dementia Experience a plus

Requirements
