Job summary

Right at Home Langhorne is seeking Experienced Caregivers and Aides for a Monday-Friday daytime position, paying $16.00–$18.00 per hour. Join an award-winning company with a culture built around kindness and flexible schedules.

Responsibilities include assisting seniors in a fast-paced day center, driving/assisting with clients on and off the bus, accompanying to medical appointments, and helping with mobility and daily tasks. Location: Bensalem, PA area.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license, insured automobile, and reliable transportation.
• Minimum 1 year of professional home care experience.
• High school graduate or GED.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients getting on and off the bus.
• Go with the day center bus driver to pick up and drop off clients, and accompany to medical appointments.
• Lock wheelchairs in place on the bus and seat clients.
• Assist clients to the toilet in the community as needed.
• Experience with Alzheimer's and Dementia is a plus.

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Work in a fast-paced senior day center as a bus aide assisting clients getting on and off the bus.

• Responsible for going with the day center bus driver to pick up clients from their homes and drop them off at the end of the day. Will also go with clients to medical appointments.

• Responsible for locking wheelchairs in place on the bus and seating clients.

• Assist clients to the toilet in the community as needed.

• Alzheimer's and Dementia Experience a plus
