Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two-year accredited radiologic technology program required.
• VA State Radiologic Technologist Licensure required.
• American Heart Association BLS required.
• Basic computer skills: Microsoft Office and email.
• Healthcare facility clinical experience required.
• Experience in phlebotomy or medical office assistant or CNA with EHR preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and EPIC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients and conducts registration and payment collection.
• Measures vital signs and documents data into the medical record.
• Prepares patients for radiologic procedures and assists with imaging.
• Helps provider with patient care and approved labs/medications as directed.
• Organizes referrals and maintains supplies and medications.
• Maintains patient data confidentiality and quality checks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
