UrgentVet, Inc. in New Britain, CT seeks a DVM to join our after-hours urgent care team. We provide single-doctor shifts focused on common urgent cases, with cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and a full suite of IDEXX in-house lab equipment.

You will work in a paperless clinic designed for efficient care and equipped with a strong technical team and supportive leadership. Flexible swing/second shifts and a focus on urgent care only are offered.

Formación

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college.
• Active license to practice in the state in which employed (or ability to obtain).

Responsabilidades

• Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach.
• Collaborate with the clinical team and leadership.
• Grow relationships within the practice and the New Britain community.
• Encourage growth of support staff through internal LevelUp training.
• Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during open hours.

We offer after-hours care for canine and feline patients without the additional expense of emergency clinic fees. Our single-doctor shifts offer care for common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia. Each of our paperless clinics is specially designed to deliver efficient care and equipped with cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and a full suite of IDEXX in-house lab equipment.

Skills Knowledge, and Expertise

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
• Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate will be employed (or the ability to obtain a license in that state)
