Job summary

UrgentVet, Inc in Belmont, NC is seeking a licensed DVM to join our urgent care team. The role emphasizes after-hours canine and feline care, wound management, ear infections, vomiting, and related urgent cases in a modern clinic.

You will collaborate with a strong technical team, participate in internal LevelUp training, and help grow relationships with the Charlotte community while enjoying a flexible swing shift and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of equivalent).
• Active license to practice in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

UrgentVet bridges the gap between daytime general practice and emergency/overnight care in the Belmont, North Carolina area. We offer after-hours care for canine and feline patients without the additional expense of emergency clinic fees. Our single-doctor shifts offer care for common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia. Each of our paperless clinics is specially designed to deliver efficient care and equipped with cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and a full suite of IDEXX in-house lab equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Skills Knowledge, and Expertise

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
• Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate will be employed (or the ability to obtain a license in that state)
