Job summary

UrgentVet Myrtle Beach is seeking a dedicated DVM to provide after-hours urgent care for canine and feline patients in a modern, paperless clinic. The role features single-doctor shifts and a focus on common urgent cases with access to cloud-based EMR, digital imaging, and IDEXX in-house lab equipment.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or completion of ECFVG or PAVE)
• Active license in good standing to practice in the employed state (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach
• Collaborate and engage with the clinical team and leadership
• Grow relationships within the practice and the METRO LOCATION community
• Encourage the growth of support staff members through internal LevelUp training
• Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during open hours

UrgentVet bridges the gap between daytime general practice and emergency/overnight care in the CITY, STATE area. We offer after-hours care for canine and feline patients without the additional expense of emergency clinic fees. Our single-doctor shifts offer care for common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia. Each of our paperless clinics is specially designed to deliver efficient care and equipped with cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and a full suite of IDEXX in-house lab equipment.
