Livewell Animal Urgent Care of South End seeks a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our urgent care team on-site in a fast-paced hospital. You will perform triage, monitoring, anesthesia, and critical care under veterinarian supervision, while delivering clear explanations to owners and ensuring accurate handoffs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program and a current state license in good standing.
• Proficiency in emergency procedures, anesthesia monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• One year of veterinary experience preferred; urgent care or emergency experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Be a lifeline for patients in crisis with triage, stabilization, monitoring, and critical care under supervision.
• Explain treatments clearly to pet owners and review discharge instructions.
• Lead and support teammates to ensure smooth workflow and collaborative care.
• Maintain accurate records for handoffs and case management.
