Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking an Urgent Care Technician in Naperville to support nurses and physicians in a busy ICC/Express Care setting. You will perform venipuncture, IV insertion, vital signs, wound care, and patient transport under licensed staff supervision.

Requirements include EMT-Paramedic certification, CPR/ACLS/PALS, and 2 years in acute care. Eligible for comprehensive benefits and a performance-based pay structure; shift variety includes weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• EMT-Paramedic Certification required.
• CPR Certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required.
• International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) certifications a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in an acute care environment is required.
• At least 1-2 years of experience starting IVs, drawing blood, and administering injections.
• Phlebotomy certification may be required within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• The Urgent Care Tech delivers urgent care to ICC and Express Care patients in a fast-paced medical environment.
• Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a RN, PA/NP, or physician and assists with procedures.
• Triages patients, assesses urgency, and determines care location; documents results in EPIC.
