Responsibilities

Coordinates department patient flow to optimize throughput and informs patients of delays.
Observes patients and notifies provider or RN if distress is detected.
Prepares patients for examination and assists during and after the visit as needed.
Performs CLINICAL Assistant duties with IV venipuncture and related procedures.
Provides and reviews written instructions to patients as appropriate.
Maintains exam/treatment rooms and equipment; orders supplies as directed.
Verifies patient demographics and processes payments per procedures.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
