Job summary

UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial Hospital is seeking an Urgent Aid Tech for the Flossmoor Family Care Center. This 100% onsite position requires based in the greater Chicagoland area, working night shifts as part of the Urgent Aid team under the APCM/PCM/Director leadership.

You’ll perform quick triage, vital signs, basic lab work, venipuncture, EKG monitoring, and assist with exams and patient care to uphold high-quality treatment.

Responsibilities

• Patient care as directed to assigned patients
• Maintain annual certifications including lab competencies
• Collect and analyze quality metrics as assigned
• Conduct DNV, Survey Readiness, and EOC rounds
• Precept new staff as needed
• Other duties as assigned including EKG, lab
