Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA, CMA, EMT or nursing student with one semester of clinical completed required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred; CNA program graduate or phlebotomy course graduate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic nursing care activities as delegated by an RN.
• Monitor vital signs and glucose when applicable, record intake/output.
• Assist patients with ADLs (bathing, grooming, eating).
• Report abnormal findings to nursing staff.
• Maintain clean, orderly patient rooms and unit workflow.
• Prioritize tasks and adapt to changing needs of the unit.
