Job summary

Community-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Team Leader (Medical Assistant) to oversee day-to-day center operations and lead staff development while remaining engaged in patient care. Youll partner with the Regional Operations Manager to drive operational excellence and ensure an exceptional patient experience.

This role suits an experienced Medical Assistant ready to advance into leadership, with responsibilities spanning coaching, hiring support, and center performance monitoring.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within required timeframe.
• Experience using electronic health records systems and MS Office applications.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as frontline leader and operational point person for assigned centers.
• Provide coaching, support, and regular one-on-one meetings with team members.
• Conduct monthly center meetings and facilitate team communication.
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Partner with leadership to address attendance, performance, and behavioral concerns.
• Monitor center performance metrics and support patient experience improvements.
• Register patients, verify eligibility, document histories and vital signs.
• Support providers with patient flow and clinical documentation.
