Job summary

Community-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Team Leader (Medical Assistant) to serve as the on-site operational leader within our Indianapolis centers. You will partner with the Regional Operations Manager to guide day-to-day center operations, support staff development, and ensure an exceptional patient experience.

This role is ideal for an experienced Medical Assistant or healthcare professional ready to step into leadership while remaining actively involved in patient care and center

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Assistant experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle background check.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within required timeframe.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using electronic health records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site operations for assigned urgent care centers.
• Coordinate staff development, coaching, and performance management.
• Conduct monthly center meetings and drive team communication.
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, and training.
• Support staffing plans and weekend leadership coverage.
• Ensure patient care quality and efficient center operations.
