Job summary

GoHealth is seeking a Team Leader to support Medical Providers, Radiologic Technologists, and patients across Nassau County centers. You will manage patient flow, supervise Medical Assistants and Rad Techs, and drive center KPIs while maintaining an effortless care experience.

You will oversee daily operations, registrations, tests, and coordination with ROM and specialists, ensuring high quality and timely service at multiple centers in Port Washington, Mineola, Levittown, Oceanside.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
• 1+ year MA experience under licensed supervisor in last 3 years preferred.
• CPOE within 2 weeks if MA certification not obtained on hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support team members and business operations.
• Ensure day-to-day operations including cash deposits, ordering, inventory management, call backs, etc., with ROM follow-up.
• Conduct monthly inventory and assist ROM with resolution of patient concerns.
• Provide weekly oversight of calibrator calls.
• Drive KPIs and strategic initiatives with ROM.
• Coordinate patient registrations and schedule appointments for centers.
• Answer patient questions and inform staff of patient flow.
• Prepare patients for examination and conduct basic vital signs.
• Perform point-of-care testing as needed and manage supplies.
