Job summary

Community-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Team Leader (Medical Assistant) to serve as the on-site operational leader and trusted partner to the Regional Operations Manager. You will guide day-to-day center operations, support staff development, and ensure an exceptional patient experience.

This role is ideal for an experienced Medical Assistant or healthcare professional moving into leadership while staying engaged in patient care and center operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (preferred).
• Experience with EHR systems and MS Office is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as frontline leader and operational point person for assigned centers.
• Provide coaching, support, and regular one-on-one meetings with team members.
• Conduct monthly center meetings and facilitate team communication.
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Partner with leadership to address attendance, performance, and behavioral concerns.
• Support new hire development and collaborate with training teams on progress.
• Foster a positive, engaged, and collaborative team culture.
• Drive operational success and monitor KPIs like patient experience and throughput.
• Review patient feedback and assist with service recovery and complaints.
• Maintain center facilities, inventory, and regulatory logs.
