Job summary

VillageMD is seeking an Office Supervisor in Copiague, NY to manage urgent care site operations and administrative functions. You will lead a team, partner with the Practice Manager, and ensure a patient-centric experience from arrival to discharge.

The role emphasizes staffing coordination, supply management, HIPAA compliance, and professional development of staff. On-site work with weekend/evening shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; degree preferred or relevant management experience could substitute.
• Minimum 1 year of supervising or management experience.
• Ability to multitask effectively and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site performance and patient flow, including registration and post-discharge follow-up.
• Assist Practice Manager with staff scheduling for non-providers.
• Order medical supplies, vaccines, and office supplies for the site.
• Open and close the site as required and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Lead the site team and collaborate with HR on staff development and performance.
