VillageMD seeks a Scribe Tech to capture accurate, detailed documentation of patient visits in the EMR and support physicians with basic patient care in a high-volume urgent care setting in New York. You will help manage patient flow, labs, and site operations while upholding DOH compliance and exceptional service.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, optional Medical Assisting or phlebotomy training, strong communication, and a passion for compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Medical Assisting program completion and/or phlebotomy certification is a plus but not required. Training provided.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with excellent bedside manner.
• Willingness to work full-time with weekend shifts.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• English language proficiency in speaking and writing.
• Attention to detail and patient-focused approach.
• Team player with collaborative mindset.
• Knowledge of third-party payor requirements is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Capture accurate and detailed documentation of patient visits in the EMR.
• Assist the physician with basic patient care and medical procedures.
• Assist site management with patient flow, inventory, and lab follow-ups.
• Ensure site lab compliance with DOH regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and other facilities as needed.
• Support diagnostics such as phlebotomy, UA, EKG, and point-of-care testing.
