Job summary

Essentia Health's Duluth location is seeking a professional nurse in an urgent care setting. You will work across multiple outpatient facilities, perform triage and assessments, educate patients, and collaborate with physicians and other health professionals to provide timely care.

The role requires a current RN license (MN and WI possible) and BCLS certification, with the possibility to obtain WI licensure within 3 months. Various benefits and a strong team culture are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Current license with the State Board of Nursing in MN and WI, or able to obtain WI license within 3 months of hire.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 3 months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in primary and specialty outpatient settings including telehealth nursing encounters.
• Triage, assessments, patient education, and rooming patients as needed.
• Administer medications and participate in care coordination across the care team.
