Job summary

Essentia Health is seeking a skilled nurse for Urgent Care – VMAC, focusing on health care for individuals, families, and populations in outpatient settings. You will apply the nursing process from assessment to action, supporting primary and specialty care across telehealth, home, and office visits.

The role includes triage, patient education, and timely interventions; licensure and BCLS are required, with Wisconsin RN licensure due within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Current license with the appropriate State Board of Nursing.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 3 months from date of hire.
• WI RN License required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Triage and assess patients and provide patient education.
• Manage in-basket tasks and assist with rooming patients as needed.
• Administer medications and support care across urgent care sites.
• Collaborate with the health care team to promote timely, quality patient care.
