Carilion Clinic’s VelocityCare in Salem is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced urgent care setting. You will assess and plan individualized care, document in EMR, and collaborate with the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required: Virginia RN license, 1 year clinical experience, BLS-HCP; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be needed depending on unit. Willingness to float between VelocityCare locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse required by Virginia state board.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience with demonstrated leadership.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required depending on unit.
• Life Support: BLS-HCP required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Document care and orders in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with the health care team and families to develop care plans.
