Job summary

Valley Health is seeking a Clinical Coordinator (RN) for the Urgent Care Center to provide clinical leadership, operational coordination, staff development, and direct patient care. This role travels between Urgent Care locations to support nursing and support staff, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and efficient daily operations.

The position emphasizes onboarding, competency development, education, and collaboration with providers and leadership to maintain regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• RN licensure in Virginia and/or West Virginia.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of one year of RN experience in ambulatory/urgent care settings.
• Lead, charge nurse, supervisory, preceptor, educator, or coordinator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical lead and resource for nursing and support staff across assigned Urgent Care Centers.
• Coordinate daily clinic operations, staffing, and patient flow to optimize efficiency.
• Support onboarding, education, and competency validation of staff.
• Maintain documentation in the EMR and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Travel between Urgent Care locations as needed.
• Foster a culture of exceptional patient experience and continuous improvement.
