Job summary

MANA Urgent Care in Northwest Arkansas provides urgent care services seven days a week from 7 am to 7 pm at two Fayetteville locations. The Registered Medical Assistant works under a physician, delivering direct and indirect patient care and helping manage the physician's practice.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, RMA certification, and 12–18 months of related experience. EMR experience and prior urgent care experience are preferred, with bilingual ability also valued.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician in setting up for procedures and exams; revise daily schedules; obtain charts and charge tickets; locate lab tests and X-ray reports
• Ensure that patient chart/EMR entries are made accurately and in a timely manner
• Contact pharmacy to order new and refill prescriptions; notify patient; document appropriately
• Notify outside facilities or personnel of physician's orders
