Job summary

MANA Family Medicine, Northwest Arkansas, is seeking a Medical Assistant with RMA certification to support physicians and care teams in a busy family medicine setting. You will assist with procedures, manage patient charts in the EMR, coordinate prescriptions, and communicate orders to hospitals and pharmacies to ensure smooth patient flow.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 12–18 months of related experience, and RMA certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician in setting up for procedures and exams, revising daily schedules; obtaining charts and charge tickets, locating lab tests and X-ray reports.
• Ensure that patient chart/EMR entries are made accurately and in a timely manner.
• Contact pharmacy to order new and refill prescriptions; notify patient; document appropriately.
• Notify hospital or personnel of physician's orders.
• Triage patients to ensure productive departmental flow.
