Job summary

Fayetteville Diagnostic Clinic is seeking a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) to support physicians in outpatient internal medicine. The role involves direct and indirect patient care, charting in EMR, and assisting with procedures and exams in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, lab/test result handling, prescription communication with pharmacies, and ensuring accurate documentation to maintain efficient clinic workflows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training.
• RMA certification.

Overview

The Registered Medical Assistant position is under the supervision of the physician. The RMA to the Physician is responsible for providing direct or indirect care to patients who present with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems; utilizes knowledge of basic Medical Assistant principals, practices and ethics; participates in the organization and management of the physician's practice.
