Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join its Urgent Care team. You will perform X-ray imaging under physician orders, support patient flow, and assist with patient intake and documentation across MedStar Health sites.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Completion of an approved Radiologic Technologist program.
• Externship in a clinical setting.
• 2 years of medical office experience preferred.
• ARRT Certification.
• Maryland, Virginia, or DC state license.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Float to other sites within the MedStar Health system to perform duties across locations.
• Perform and transmit X-ray imaging under physician orders and assist with patient care.
• Administer oral, IM, SC, or intradermal medications as ordered after demonstrating competency.
• Maintain patient records and support patient flow and safety in the care setting.
• Support front desk activities and basic computer/patient intake tasks as needed.
