Job summary

Brown University Health seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures, EKGs, and phlebotomy while maintaining patient care across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. You will support clerical duties and ensure safety and privacy in line with hospital policies.

Qualifications include AMA-approved radiologic technology training, active RI license, ARRT, and BLS. One year of experience is preferred; must be able to work day shifts and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Completion of AMA-approved radiologic technology program.
• Current Rhode Island license to work in the state.
• Current ARRT certification.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to care for pediatric, adult and geriatric patients with cultural sensitivity.

Responsibilities

• Follows workflow protocols to maximize quality and efficiency.
• Greets and explains radiologic exams, EKGs, and phlebotomy procedures to patients.
• Protects patient privacy and confidentiality per policy.
• Ensures safety and comfort of all patients during procedures.
• Performs reception tasks and patient registration as required.
• Prepares exam rooms and schedules radiologic examinations.
• Transfers images to PACS for physician review.
• Performs quality control and reports equipment issues.
