The role includes EKG, phlebotomy, patient education, safety, and efficient workflow with PACS and LifeChart systems. Requires RI license, ARRT, and BLS, with strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Completion of AMA-approved radiologic technology program.
• Current Rhode Island radiologic technologist license.
• ARRT certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Follows Urgent Care workflow to maximize quality and efficiency.
• Explain radiologic exams, EKGs, and phlebotomy to patients to reduce apprehension.
• Ensure patient safety, privacy, and comfort per policy.
• Register and check out patients; manage room setup and patient flow.
• Transfer images to PACS for physician review and maintain accurate records.
