Job summary

Baptist Health Urgent Care in Hot Springs, AR seeks experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our team. You will perform x-ray testing, operate diagnostic equipment, and assist with Medical Assistant duties in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

We value current AR state X-Ray licensure, BLS, and ARRT certification; ARRT Radiology credentials preferred. Full-time schedule involves rotating 12-hour shifts with some weekends; benefits include health, retirement, and paid time

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current AR state X-Ray license.
• BLS certification.
• ARRT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and prep exam rooms.
• Communicate wait times and next steps to patients.
• Assist with patient transfers and procedures under supervision.
• Document patient history, vitals and medications.
• Ensure radiation safety and shielding procedures are followed.
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions to supervisor.
• Complete documentation related to patient visits.
• Perform radiology procedures for physician evaluation.
