Job summary

Baptist Health Urgent Care in Hot Springs, AR seeks experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our team. The role performs x-ray testing, operates diagnostic equipment, and assists with Medical Assistant duties.

Full-time schedule includes 12-hour shifts with weekend rotation; benefits include comprehensive medical plans and retirement options. The candidate must hold AR state X-ray license and BLS, with ARRT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• AR State X-Ray License.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in the waiting area and exam room.
• Communicate wait times to patients and direct them to the next steps.
• Assist with radiology procedures under provider supervision.
• Take and document vital signs and patient history as appropriate.
• Ensure radiation safety and proper shielding during procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment and report malfunctions.
