Job summary

Baptist Health Urgent Care is seeking experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our Hot Springs, AR team. The role involves performing x-ray testing, operating diagnostic equipment, developing film, and assisting with Medical Assistant duties.

You will greet patients, document vitals and history, maintain safety protocols, and ensure equipment functions properly. ARRT/AR license requirements apply, with ARRT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS Certification required.
• AR State X-Ray License required.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly in waiting areas, exam rooms, or radiology rooms.
• Communicate wait times and guide patients to the next step in care.
• Assist with radiology procedures under provider supervision.
• Document patient history, vitals, medications and allergies.
• Maintain and prepare radiology equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Ensure radiation safety and shielding practices are followed.
