Job summary

Sherwood Urgent Care in Batesville, AR is seeking experienced ARRT radiology or limited license X-ray techs to join our team. The role includes x-ray testing, patient preparation, and assisting with Medical Assistant duties under supervision.

Full-time schedule with rotating 36-40 hour weeks, 12-hour shifts, and every-other weekend; PRN options available. AR State X-Ray license required; ARRT certification preferred; BLS certification required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS Certification
• AR State X-Ray License
• ARRT Certification preferred
• Experience as Medical Assistant preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet patients entering the waiting area, exam room or x-ray room.
• Communicate wait times and guide patients through the treatment process.
• Perform radiology procedures and ensure patient safety.
• Document vital signs, medical history and other pertinent information.
• Assist with transfers and with procedures supervised by the provider.
• Maintain equipment and complete required documentation.
