BestMed Clinics in Klamath Falls, OR, seeks a PRN Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver care in urgent care and occupational medicine settings. You will join a well-established network with modern facilities and a patient-first approach.

You will provide outpatient care, perform procedures, document thoroughly, and collaborate with a clinical team. Licenses, DOT in 60 days, and DEA licensure are required; strong communication is essential. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted PA or NP license in the state or ability to obtain.
• DOT certification within 60 days of hire.
• DEA licensure.
• Knowledge of treatment and drug interactions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care in urgent care/occupational medicine settings.
• Deliver care, treatment, and referrals as needed.
• Arrange referrals for specialties not provided by the clinic.
• Assess patients, perform exams, diagnose, and plan treatment.
• Perform clinical procedures within scope and communicate goals to patients.
• Maintain accurate documentation and CDI in EMR.
• Support occupational and telemedicine patient care.
• Review labs and X-ray results; perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care on an outpatient basis to include procedures normally performed in an urgent care setting
• Responsible for the delivery of care, treatment, and referrals.
• Arrange for referral resources for those medical specialties not provided by the organization for patients of the clinic
• Evaluate patients to determine the medical condition of the patient, through the performance of physical examinations, thereby, establishing a diagnosis and proposed treatment plan
• Perform such clinical procedures for patient's benefit which are within scope and skill of practitioner
• Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals
• Maintains accurate, complete, concise, and timely documentation with a focus on proper level coding and clinical documentation integrity (CDI) in the electronic medical record
• Ability to perform occupational and telemedicine patient care
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as lab and x-ray review
• Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned by the Medical Director
