Job summary

BestMed Clinics, part of Community Care Partners, seeks Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join our urgent care and occupational medicine team in Hermiston, OR. You will deliver high-quality outpatient care in a supportive network.

You’ll work with experienced clinical teams, modern facilities, and a benefits package that includes malpractice coverage, CME allowances, PTO, and a comprehensive medical plan.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted PA or NP license in the state or ability to obtain
• DEA licensure
• Knowledge of treatment and drug interactions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care in an urgent care setting with procedures normally performed in an urgent care setting
• Deliver care, treatment, and referrals.
• Arrange referrals to medical specialties not provided by the organization for patients of the clinic
• Evaluate patients to determine the medical condition through physical examinations, establishing a diagnosis and proposed treatment plan
• Perform clinical procedures within scope and skill of the practitioner
• Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals
• Maintain accurate, complete, concise, and timely documentation in the EMR with a CDI focus
• Ability to perform occupational and telemedicine patient care
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as lab and x-ray review
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Medical Director

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care on an outpatient basis to include procedures normally performed in an urgent care setting
• Responsible for the delivery of care, treatment, and referrals.
• Arrange for referral resources for those medical specialties not provided by the organization for patients of the clinic
• Evaluate patients to determine the medical condition of the patient, through the performance of physical examinations, thereby, establishing a diagnosis and proposed treatment plan
• Perform such clinical procedures for patient's benefit which are within scope and skill of practitioner
• Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals
• Maintains accurate, complete, concise, and timely documentation with a focus on proper level coding and clinical documentation integrity (CDI) in the electronic medical record
• Ability to perform occupational and telemedicine patient care
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as lab and x-ray review
• Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned by the Medical Director

Compensation:

Pay is based on experience, skills and falls within an established range.
