Job summary

University Hospitals Urgent Care in Westlake, OH seeks a patient-oriented Urgent Care Physician to provide high-quality medical care for adults and children. The role emphasizes compassionate service, accurate documentation, and collaboration with the care team to maintain exceptional patient experiences.

The position requires board certification (or eligibility) and Ohio licensure, with DEA registration. A commitment to continuing education and professional development is expected to support

Qualifications

• Board Certified (or Board Eligible) and Licensed to practice medicine in the state of practice.
• Current DEA registration.
• Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses.
• Experience with reading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs.
• Meets eligibility requirements for credentialing set forth by WellStreet Urgent Care.
• Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high quality medical care with appropriate resource management to patients, both adults and children.
• Deliver the highest standard of patient satisfaction by upholding service and courtesy standards.
• Provide patient care within the clinical area in compliance with policies and bylaws.
• Serve as a resource for patient, family, and staff; maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Ensure communication to facilitate patient care and appropriate reimbursement.
