Qualifications

• Board Certified (or Board Eligible) and Licensed to practice medicine in the state of practice.
• Current DEA registration.
• Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses.
• Experience with reading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs.
• BLS certification (we will provide this if needed).
• Meets eligibility requirements for credentialing set forth by WellStreet Urgent Care.
• Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high quality medical care with appropriate resource management for adult and pediatric patients.
• Adhere to service and courtesy standards by delivering the highest patient satisfaction.
• Provide patient care within the clinical area in line with policies and procedures.
• Serve as a resource for patient/family and staff.
• Document all services accurately and maintain records.
• Complete necessary documentation to facilitate patient care and reimbursement.
• Participate in meetings and activities to support urgent care operations.
• Maintain certifications (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, or NALS) as required.
• Report to the Area Clinical Operations Director.
