Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible and licensed to practice medicine in the state of practice.
• Licensed Physician in accordance with the state of South Carolina.
• Current DEA registration.
• Experience with suturing and drainage of abscesses.
• Experience reading X-ray and EKG results.
• BLS certification (we will provide this if needed).
• Credentialing eligibility as per WellStreet Urgent Care.
• Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred.
• Excellent communication with patients, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality medical care with appropriate resource management for patients.
• Uphold Prisma Health Urgent Care service standards and patient satisfaction.
• Provide care within policies and bylaws, maintaining accurate records.
• Serve as a resource for patients, families, and staff.
• Complete documentation to facilitate care and reimbursement.
• Participate in meetings to support urgent care operations.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and maintain required certifications.
• Report to Regional Medical Director or Area Clinical Operations Director.
