Job summary

Hartford Health | GoHealth Urgent Care in Connecticut seeks experienced physicians with urgent care or emergency medicine background to join a growing network. You will treat both adult and pediatric patients, perform examinations, take histories, order tests, diagnose, and prescribe medications, including vaccines.

The role includes educating patients and providing follow-up care; supervision of GoHealth PAs/NPs remotely when cases are presented, and credentialing support for clinicians.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
• 2-5 years post-residency clinical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat patients; take medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and X-rays; diagnose and prescribe.
• Educate patients and provide vaccinations.
• Supervise GoHealth PA/NPs remotely when cases are presented.
• Act as collaborating physician for up to four PA/NPs during credentialing; 20 hours monthly for per diem.
