GoHealth Urgent Care in Connecticut is seeking experienced Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners with urgent care, ER, or high-acuity family medicine experience to join our team serving both adult and pediatric patients in the Hartford area.

You will provide urgent care services in a patient-centered environment, perform histories, exams, orders, and vaccines, and collaborate with a market-leading health system. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required for Physician Assistants
• Master's Degree required for Nurse Practitioners

Responsibilities

• Examining and treating patients
• Taking patients’ medical histories
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and X-rays
• Making diagnoses and prescribing medications
• Treating minor injuries with sutures, splints, or casting
• Recording progress notes for follow-up patients
• Educating and counseling patients
• Ordering and/or carrying out therapy with patients
• Giving vaccinations, and referring patients to additional care
• Each provider will work an anticipated eight (8) or twelve (12) hours per shift
• All other duties as assigned
