Job summary

Hartford Healthcare-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking experienced physicians with urgent care or emergency medicine backgrounds to provide care for adult and pediatric patients in a growing Connecticut network.

The role includes diagnosing, treating, ordering tests, prescribing medications, and supervising PA/NPs remotely. Board certification/eligibility and active state licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible by an ABMS member board or AOA specialty board in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
• Active state medical licensure.
• 2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat patients; take histories and perform exams.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and X-rays; diagnose and treat.
• Supervise GoHealth PA/NPs remotely when cases are presented.
• Collaborate as a Collaborating Physician for credentialing of PA/NPs (DOP signoff).
