AltaMed Health Services Corp. is seeking a Staff Physician for Urgent Care in California. The physician will diagnose, treat, and manage patients with non-life-threatening conditions in a fast-paced clinic environment.

The role requires a medical degree (MD/DO), an active CA medical license, and board certification or board eligibility with a plan to become certified within 18 months. Residency and ongoing CME are essential, with comprehensive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required.
• Valid, unrestricted medical license in California and Board certification required or Board Eligible, with the expectation to become board certified within 18 months of employment.
• Completion of a residency program.
• Ongoing continuing medical education to stay current with medical advances.
• Minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the AHA or Red Cross guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care medical services in an urgent care setting.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage patients with various medical conditions.
• Ensure high-quality patient care and appropriate follow-up.
