AltaMed Health Services Corporation is seeking a Staff Physician for Urgent Care at the Pico Rivera, CA facility. This per diem, part-time role offers immediate patient care, evaluation, and treatment in a busy urgent care setting.

The ideal candidate will hold an MD or DO with a CA license, board eligibility or certification, completed residency, and BLS or higher certification, and will participate in ongoing CME. For qualified candidates, competitive compensation and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Valid, unrestricted California medical license required.
• Board certification or eligibility with plan to become board certified within 18 months.
• Residency completed in an appropriate field.
• Ongoing CME to stay current with medical advances.
• BLS or higher certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care in an urgent care setting for non-life-threatening conditions.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage patients ensuring quality care.
