Valley Medical Center in Covington, WA is seeking a full-time Urgent Care Physician to join our collaborative Urgent Care team. The role offers a 7-days-a-week clinic with 12-hour shifts, no on-call requirements, and a supportive staffing model including PAs and MAs.

The department has a track record of excellence with multiple recognitions and provides access to system-wide support. A WA medical license and DEA with full prescriptive authority are required, with BE/BC in Urgent Care, Family

• Urgent Care experience strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Clinic operates 7 days a week (8a–8p weekdays, 8a–4p weekends).
• General schedule includes 12-hour shifts with weekend coverage; every other weekend (2/month).
• No call expectations.
• Collaborate with a team of PAs, MAs, and other Providers to deliver patient-centered care.
• Provide expert urgent care management for a diverse patient population.

Seeking an Urgent Care Physician to join our collaborative team

We are actively recruiting for a full-time Urgent Care Physician tojoin our Covington Clinic in our collaborative network where you will have easy access to system-wide support as you work alongside a highly motivated and skilled Urgent Care team. We provide patient-centered, team-based care to a diverse population of patients.

Our Urgent Care teams have produced multiple 'Provider of the Year' award winners within our organization.

We are proud participants in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program

About the position:

• Clinic Hours - Open 7 days/week (8a-8p M-F, 8a-4p Sa-Su)
• General Schedule - 12-hours shifts Monday - Friday; weekends 8-hour shifts; every other weekend (2/month).
• No call expectations
• Average # of patients seen per day 20-25 average/peak Flu/Cold slightly higher (25-30)
• Support staff- average 3 PAAs per shift, 5 MAs, 3 Providers
• Practitioners- At least one physician is staffed with the APPs (ARNP/Pas) per shift
• BE/BC in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• Ability to obtain medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority
• Experience in Urgent Care strongly preferred

COMPENSATION: $275,000 + incentives

Amounts may not include productivity, quality/service incentives, call pay, and/or extra shift incentives as applicable.
