Valley Medical Center in Maple Valley, WA seeks an Urgent Care Physician to join our collaborative network at the Maple Valley Clinic. This full-time role offers patient-centered, team-based care with system-wide support and a strong emphasis on provider well-being.

Typical hours include 12-hour shifts on weekdays and 8-hour weekend shifts, with no on-call duties. Expect about 20–25 patient visits daily, with a supportive staff including PAs/APPs and MAs.

Qualifications

• BE/BC in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• Ability to obtain medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority
• Experience in Urgent Care strongly preferred

• Clinic Hours: open 7 days a week (8a-8p M-F, 8a-4p Sa-Su)
• General Schedule: 12-hour shifts Mon-Fri; weekends 8-hour shifts; every other weekend (2/month)
• No call expectations
• Average patients seen: 20–25 per day (30 during flu season)
• Support staff per shift: 3 PAs/APPs, 5 MAs, 3 Providers
• At least one physician staffed with APPs per shift

Seeking an Urgent Care Physician to join our collaborative team

We are actively recruiting for a full-time Urgent Care Physician tojoin our Maple Valley Clinic in our collaborative network where you will have easy access to system-wide support as you work alongside a highly motivated and skilled Urgent Care team. We provide patient-centered, team-based care to a diverse population of patients.

Our Urgent Care teams have produced multiple 'Provider of the Year' award winners within our organization.

About the position:

• Clinic Hours - Open 7 days/week (8a-8p M-F, 8a-4p Sa-Su)
• General Schedule - 12-hours shifts Monday - Friday; weekends 8-hour shifts; every other weekend (2/month).
• No call expectations
• Average # of patients seen per day 20-25 average/peak Flu/Cold slightly higher (25-30)
• Support staff- average 3 PAAs per shift, 5 MAs, 3 Providers
• Practitioners- At least one physician is staffed with the APPs (ARNP/Pas) per shift
• BE/BC in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• Ability to obtain medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority
• Experience in Urgent Care strongly preferred

COMPENSATION: $275,000 + incentives
