Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Washington is seeking an Urgent Care Physician to join our dynamic care team serving the Puget Sound region. You will provide rapid evaluations, acute care, and evidence-based treatment in a busy, patient-centered environment.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, develop individualized plans, educate patients and families, and stay current with clinical best practices.

Qualifications

• BC/BE by American Board in Family Medicine.
• Active Washington State License in good standing.
• DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority.
• Strong clinical skills diagnosing urgent care issues.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Urgent Care Physician, you will join our dynamic healthcare team dedicated to improving quality, enhancing patient experience, and advancing clinical standards for those we serve. We treat non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries with compassion, speed, and clinical excellence. Every day you will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of patients and their families within Franciscan Medical Group.

To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, licensed, and compassionate physician, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex diseases, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients

• Hours are 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM M-F and 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM on weekends
• Compensation ranges from $145.55 - $176.10 /hour

We are offering a guaranteed base salary, a wRVU quarterly payout with an annual bonus incentive, a starting bonus, and relocation assistance. Retirement plans include both 401(k) and 457(b).

• Strong clinical skills and experience diagnosing urgent care type issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to all patients and families

Preferred

• 1+ years experience following training

Pay Range

$145.55 - $176.10 /hour
