Job summary

Midwest Express Clinic is seeking a Collaborative Physician to deliver high-quality patient care across multiple urgent care locations in Illinois and Indiana. The role includes clinical collaboration, oversight of NPs/PAs, chart reviews, and leadership in clinical processes.

The position is part-time, with in-clinic duties and substantial administrative work. Prior urgent care or emergency medicine experience is preferred, along with a current MD/DO and active licenses.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Active unrestricted medical license in Illinois and/or Indiana as required.
• DEA registration required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across assigned Midwest Express Clinic locations.
• Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for oversight and clinical decisions.
• Perform chart reviews and quality oversight in line with state requirements.
• Support development of clinical workflows and provider training to sustain high-quality urgent care.
