Job summary

Midwest Express Clinic is seeking a Collaborative Physician to deliver high‑quality patient care across multiple urgent care locations in Illinois and Indiana. This role includes clinical collaboration, oversight and support for NP/PA providers, chart reviews, and leading clinical initiatives.

The position emphasizes evidence‑based urgent care, strong documentation, and adherence to organizational standards.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Active unrestricted medical license in Indiana and/or Illinois as required.
• DEA registration.
• DOT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across assigned Midwest Express Clinic locations, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management and follow‑up.
• Collaborate with clinic teams to support efficient patient flow and an exceptional patient experience.
• Provide physician collaboration and oversight for NP and PA providers.
• Perform chart reviews and prescribing oversight in accordance with state requirements.
• Support development and maintenance of clinical workflows, standards and protocols.
