Job summary

American Family Care Old Bridge is looking for an experienced, full-time Physician Assistant to work between our Old Bridge, Milltown, and Freehold locations. The ideal candidate will enjoy practicing independently in a fast-paced urgent care environment.

This position offers a competitive salary of $72–$85 per hour, based on experience. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating acute illnesses, performing medical assessments, and prescribing medications.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Emergency Department or Urgent Care experience preferred.
• Experience managing patients independently in a clinical environment.
• Strong communication and patient service skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries.
• Perform comprehensive medical assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications within scope of practice.

Skills

Current Physician Assistant license in New Jersey

NCCPA certification

Emergency Department or Urgent Care experience

Proficiency with common urgent care procedures

Excellent communication skills

Ability to travel between locations

Education

Physician Assistant degree
