Job summary

American Family Care is seeking an experienced, full-time Physician Assistant to provide care in Old Bridge, Milltown, and Freehold, NJ. This role involves evaluating and treating a wide range of urgent care medical issues and working independently as the sole provider in busy settings.

Qualified candidates must have a current Physician Assistant license in New Jersey, NCCPA certification, and at least 2 years of experience in Emergency or Urgent Care environments. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department or Urgent Care experience strongly preferred.
• Experience managing patients independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Ability to travel between assigned AFC locations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries.
• Perform comprehensive medical assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications within scope of practice.
